Synchrony Executive Administrative Assistant in Alpharetta, Georgia
Job Description:
Role Summary/Purpose:
In this role you will provide administrative support services to Executive Leaders across the Enterprise Complaints and Customer Experience and Global Collections, Recovery and Operational Solutions Organizations. The ideal candidate must have exceptional organizational, interpersonal, communication and computer (Microsoft Office) skills, and the ability to handle confidential information and work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.
Essential Responsibilities:
Effectively use computer and company software programs with strong emphasis on Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook (for appointments/email) and Concur for T&E.
Planning & creating meetings and managing busy and complex calendars (including frequent calendar shifts and planning & scheduling meetings 1:1s, roundtables, townhalls etc.)
Arranging complex travel plans and events and prepare/reconcile T&E and Purchase Card reports; book on-line flight and hotel reservations and coordinate all travel/meeting logistics.
Coordinating activities, trainings and meetings, planning for on-site and off-site events; includes submitting and tracking SYF Star Awards and/or Grubhub.
Assisting with email communications and organizational announcements in partnership with designated points of contact.
Managing email distribution lists, purchase order processing, invoices and vendor related matters.
Tracking team birthday/anniversaries and/or other organizational milestones.
Creating presentation and proposal packages with some graphical content, as needed.
Ensuring documents are posted accurately and timely in preparation for meetings/conference calls.
Attending staff/team meetings as required.
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
7+ years in an executive and/or administrative role, specifically supporting senior leaders
4+ years of experience working with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
Desired Characteristics:
Associates or Bachelor's Degree
Experience working within the Financial Services Industry
Excellent in all applications of Microsoft Office and Outlook
Clear, concise and articulate communication skills (verbal & written)
Strong organizational skills and possess the ability to handle multiple projects
Ability to accept responsibility and handle confidential information
Excellent proficiency of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word
Strong problem-solving skills & passion for excellence
Demonstrative initiative, ability to work independently and must be a team player
Strong attention to detail
High level of integrity, confidentiality and self-confidence
Grade/Level: 07
The hourly rate range for this position is $24.00 - $33.50/hr USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience or skill level.
Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
